• 2. FSSAI Registration State License

  Food business operators involved in small to medium-sized businesses, accommodation services, transporters, retailers, marketers, publishers, etc., are still required to get the FSSAI State License. The State Government declares the State License, and applicants must operate in only one state to get the State license. It is thus frequently used for units with a yearly turnover of more than ₹ 12 lakhs.
  
  FBOs may still apply for a state FSSAI registration if their business has a yearly turnover of more than ₹ 12 lakhs but less than ₹ 20 crores

• 3. FSSAI Basic Registration

  Food business operators involved in small food businesses and small-sized companies, accommodation units, transporters, retailers, marketers, publishers, etc are expected to get the FSSAI Registration, published by the State Government. FBOs with an annual turnover less than or equal to ₹ 12 lakhs falls under the State Registration license.

Food License Renewal Process in Bihar

The FBO can display this certificate at the business location during business hours. The license must be renewed once its validity ends. To renew your FSSAI license, you need to follow the below steps:

• Step 1: You need to submit Form B to the authorities of Central or State Licensing to renew your FSSAI license
• Step 2: You must submit a self-attested declaration form complying with the Food Safety and Standards Act. It also declares that business practices follow the Health and Sanitary Practices Guidelines
• Step 3: Next, you need to pay the license renewal fee the business operator gives alongside the application
• Step 4: The respective authorities will issue the new license 60 days after verification
• Step 5: If not informed of the renewal status within 60 days, the FBO can begin the business operations and need not wait for the authorities to confirm the status.
