Manager - MIS

Job Summary:

The key responsibilities are to create and manage the various databases used by their employer, which requires proficiency with database management software.

Job Description

  • Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
    • Create cash flow forecast, Create a cash forecast to ensure optimal management of Funds and prepare variance of cash flow.
    • Monthly financials:
      • Compile Monthly accounts by 7th of every month.
      • Ensure reconciliation with CRM
      • Ensure all liabilities are provided for Compute variance analysis over plan
      • Identify causes for variance
      • Aid management to evaluate the performance. Point out key issues involved
    • Costing :
      • Prepare profitability by vertical monthly
      • Analyze performance by vertical Suggest remedial measures where needed
      • Periodical reports and others:
      • Design a Dashboard for periodical reporting
      • Manage Working Capital : Identify issues in Liabilities and receivables to ensure optimal use of Working capital
      • Deploy surplus funds optimally
    • Systems Management:
      • Ensure tight integration of supporting systems like CRM, HR software and others with the Accounting system, to minimize manual interventions and to enable adequate control over the process
      • Proactive role in defining systems need for upcoming projects
    • Policy Management :
      • Work with CFO, MD to evolve policies which will reduce/mitigate risk in various activities having Commercial Implication
      • Ensure translation of these policies on Systems
      • Identify Manual Controls needed, to supplement the controls on Base systems like CRM , and implement those over an agreed time frame along with CFO
    • Annual / Half yearly- Budget and Forecast:
      • Ensure coordination with various functions to Build revenue plan based on activity levels and rates for various activities
      • Capture expense plan in line with Management vies on how reviews will be done going forward
      • GM analysis by Vertical
      • Prepare cash flow for plan
      • Prepare Balance sheet for plan
      • Presentation to management about the organization performance
      • Manage Investor reporting / Funding Information :
      • Ensure that the periodical reports needed by investors are managed on a timely basis.
      • Coordinate with Investment Banker for any other activity relating to fund raise.

    • Qualification(s):
      • CA – Qualified or MBA Graduate

      • Experience
        • Length of Experience: 2 - 4 years.
      • Skill Set & Personality Traits required:
        • Strong Technical skills
        • Strong professionally – credible with integrity.
        • Good communication skills.
        • Strong interpersonal skills.
        • Organizational skills and ability to manage deadlines.
      • Location: Chennai
        • Age Group: 22 - 27 years.
