2.The business should not have been formed by splitting up or reconstructing an existing business
3.Businesses that manufacture or produce goods must have a valid GST Identification Number (GSTIN)
4.Start-ups recognised by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) are also eligible.
Special GST registration provisions for MSME Sector:
1.Intra-State Supply of Goods: GST registration not required if turnover ≤ ₹40 lakh (₹20 lakh in certain states).
2.Intra-State Supply of Services: GST registration not required if turnover ≤ ₹20 lakh (₹10 lakh in certain states).
3.Inter-State Supply of Services: GST registration not required if turnover ≤ ₹20 lakh (₹10 lakh in certain states).
