Chapter 28 of the HSN Code covers a broad range of inorganic chemicals and compounds of precious metals, rare-earth metals, radioactive elements, and isotopes. It includes halogens like fluorine, chlorine, bromine, and iodine (HSN Code 2801), sulphur (HSN Code 2802), and carbon (HSN Code 2803). It also includes gases such as hydrogen and rare gases (HSN Code 2804), alkali or alkaline-earth metals, and rare-earth metals (HSN Code 2805).
