Chapter 12 of the HSN Code

Chapter 12 of the HSN Code includes oilseeds, oleaginous fruits, and various other seeds and fruits, as well as industrial and medicinal plants and fodder. This includes soya beans (HSN 1201), groundnuts (HSN 1202), copra (HSN 1203), linseed (HSN 1204), rape or colza seeds (HSN 1205), and sunflower seeds (HSN 1206). It also covers other oilseeds and oleaginous fruits (HSN 1207) and flours and meals of oilseeds or oleaginous fruits (HSN 1208). The chapter further includes seeds, fruits, and spores for sowing (HSN 1209), hop cones (HSN 1210), plants used in perfumery, medicaments, or for insecticidal purposes (HSN 1211), and various vegetable products like locust beans and seaweeds (HSN 1212). Lastly, it covers cereal straw and husks (HSN 1213) and forage products such as hay, alfalfa, and clover (HSN 1214).
