Job Summary:
We are looking for a frontend developer who possesses a keen eye for detail and a passion for collaboration and getting features into production. Someone who wants to learn whilst delivering quality.
You would be working as a frontend developer within one of our product focussed teams, working closely with other frontend developers, backend developers, QA engineers and the team’s product manager to deliver changes and new functionality. You would be involved in planning new work and helping the product manager decide what the team should be working on to achieve the team’s goals.
You would also be working on frontend technical tasks to improve our front-end architecture, improve the performance and usability of the site, make use of new technologies, reduce complexity, write and maintain a growing collection of open source libraries and make development easier.

- Responsibilities and Accountabilities:
- Build beautiful, fast, efficient and reusable front-end solutions.
- Build prototypes and proof of concepts to demonstrate emerging technologies.
- Working with Product Managers and UX Designers to implement the next generation experience.
- Use RESTful APIs for communication with the backend services.
- Work in a small, agile team collaborating with designers and other engineers taking features from concept to production.
- Identify and adopt best practices for software and front-end engineering.
- Make demos for the whole company to share achievements.
- Work with the project team and be actively involved in all aspects of the work.
- Proactively identify opportunities and deliver improvements; follow agile methodology.
- Take a user-centered design approach and rapidly test and iterate your code.

B. E / B. Tech
- Experience
- Nature of Experience:Pervious working experience as a UI / Frontend Engineer.
- Length of Experience: 4 – 6years.
- Skill Set & Personality Traits required:
- Strong proficiency with JavaScript with emphasis on functional aspects.
- Strong knowledge of JavaScript.
- Some experience of the Open Source Community or a desire to get involved with it.
- Interest or experience in working with frontend frameworks, we use React.
- Familiar with CSS including preprocessing (SASS, LESS or Stylus) and / or CSS in JS solutions.
- Familiar with modern web development workflows (Babel, Flow, Webpack).
- A clear desire to work on open source projects.
- A passion for learning and personal development.
- Have a computing or software engineering degree or applicable commercial engineering experience.
- Location: Chennai
- Age Group:26 – 32 years.
- Additional information:
- Working knowledge of Mobile UI / UX best practices and keep up to date with the modern schematics.
- Extensive experience in using UX design best practices to design solutions, and a deep understanding of mobile-first and responsive design.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate design processes, ideas, and solutions to teams.
- Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.
- Be passionate about UI / UX and other areas of design and innovation.
