AP Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2023

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy inaugurated the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme 2023, on 21  December 2021.  The Government of Andhra Pradesh would cancel all loans and interest on government-approved houses under this scheme, giving beneficiaries full ownership of their property. Beneficiaries are asked to pay a modest fee in order to make use of this scheme.

The Chief Minister announced the scheme’s commencement at an event in Tanuku, West Godavari district. This initiative will assist over 5.2 million families. Under a one-time settlement scheme, the government will offer a registered title deed in exchange for a modest sum.

OTS Initiative Under Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme

On 28 February 2022, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Jagan Mohan Reddy announced the opening of a credit facility for beneficiaries of the Jagananna Sampoorna Gruha Hakku Scheme. According to the Chief Minister, the recipient from Guntur Municipal Corporation paid ₹ 20000 and received a clear title to their property without any litigation.

As a result, they mortgaged their property and obtained a loan of ₹ 300,000 in order to provide a better life for their families. The beneficiary will receive ₹15000 under this scheme, as well as a total exemption from registration and stamp duties. The OTS initiative eliminated loans of ₹10,000 crores. 

The CM asked the officials to finish the registration of properties for OTS beneficiaries within the time frame specified.

Government To Waive Off ₹10000 Crore Outstanding Loans

Following payment of the nominal value, the beneficiaries can pass on the asset to the next generation, obtain a loan, and sell their property at market value. The Government of Andhra Pradesh would waive roughly ₹10,000 crores in unpaid home loans under the JSGH Scheme 2023 scheme. In 2011, these loans were obtained from the AP Housing Board Corporation.

The Chief Minister has also issued registered documents to the 826000 people who have enlisted in the plan as part of the scheme. Aside from that, citizens who have built residences on government-allotted properties with their own money but do not have full rights can also apply by paying ₹10. Under this scheme, the government has spent ₹6000 crores on free registration alone.

Nominal Value To Be Paid For Availing Benefit Of This Scheme

Beneficiaries must pay a minimum fee of ₹10000 in villages, ₹ 15000 in municipalities, and ₹ 20000 in municipal corporations in order to receive the benefits of the JSGH Scheme 2023. If the loan amount is less than the stipulated amount, the beneficiaries can pay the outstanding loan amount and keep their property rights. Beneficiaries can apply for this plan until April 2022.

Following payment of a small amount, the beneficiary’s property would be removed from the forbidden land under Section 22. (A). Beneficiaries can also register their property with the village and ward secretariats for free to expedite the registration procedure.
