Shops and Establishment

Complete Details of the Shop Act License in Haryana

The Shops and Establishments Act pan India is set up in such a way that various states can have distinct rules. A state can establish its own rules for the founding of stores, working hours, vacations, and even employee working conditions and their rights and welfare for establishments especially in the unorganised sector.

The State of Haryana is following the Punjab Shops & Commercial Establishments Act of 1958. This act covers shops and commercial establishments (offices, storerooms, godowns, or warehouses). The act is applicable even if you have one employee or none.

This license must be secured even before the shop opens for business under Shop and Establishment License Act. If you wish to operate a shop or business in Haryana, keep reading to learn about the application procedure, the paperwork that must be submitted, the information that must be provided, and the renewal process. The entire process is simple and can be completed online.
