Mukhyamantri Girl Snatak Promotion Scheme, launched by the Indian government provides financial assistance to girl students who passed their class 10th, to pursue higher education.

The Government of Bihar has launched the Mukhyamantri Balika Snatak Protsahan Yojana to provide financial incentives for higher education to daughters. The incentive amount provided under the scheme is ₹ 25,000. The primary objective of the scheme is to increase the literacy rate among daughters in the state and empower them to become self-reliant.

The scheme is being implemented as a part of the Beti Bachao Beti Padhao scheme, with the goal of promoting education among women. The benefit amount will be transferred directly to the student’s savings account through the Direct Benefit Transfer system.

• If your name is missing from the list of colleges, you can ask the registrar of your university to add the name of your institution.
• A student may only apply once.
• The beneficiary’s photo should not exceed 50 KB in size.
• Less than 20 KB should make up your signature.
• The girl’s Aadhaar card and other documents must be in a black-and-white PDF format with a file size of no more than 500 KB.
• The student may print the format of the application after submitting it.
• After the application is submitted in its entirety, no changes can be made.
