The Distinction between APEDA Consultant and APEDA Registration Consultant

The term ‘Consultant’ refers to a person who provides consultancy services to the company in obtaining APEDA Registration. The term ‘Registration Consultant’ refers to a person who provides consultancy services to the company in obtaining regulatory compliance/registration from any government authorities (including, but not limited to).

Procedure to Obtain a Successful Registration through APEDA Consultants in India

Pan Card of the Authorised Signatory for Dealing with Apeda

The pan card is a mandatory document which is issued by the income tax department. It must be valid for at least 6 months and should be issued by an authorised signatory (i.e., director or proprietor) of your company. The signatory must be a resident of India with a PAN card number and address details as per his/her Indian passport or valid identity certificate issued by Indian passport authorities. For example, Passport Authorities in Nepal, Bhutan etc., as well as other local authorities like bar councils for lawyers practising before courts here in India.

Cancelled Cheque Attached to the Bank Details of the Company

The APEDA registration can also be obtained through a cheque from the company. However, there are some steps that you need to follow before submitting such a request.

Bank details of the company: In order to obtain an APEDA registration through consultants in India, you will have to provide your bank account details with them so that they can deposit their fee and send it back to you after getting paid. You may require advance payment if it is more than Rs 50 lakhs or two months’ income from any source (including businesses), whichever comes first; otherwise, no advance payment is required for this process.

  • Electricity bill dated within six months before submitting the online registration form.
