Steps to Download GST Registration Certificate

To download the GST registration certificate or record, you should have access to your GST account. Once, you have the GST Portal account information, follow the steps below:

First, open the GST India portal

Now, Click on the ‘Login’ button to enter the username and password page.

Further, Access the correct ‘Username’ and ‘Password’ credentials along with the captcha in the necessary field and click ‘Login’.

Moreover, Click on the Services –> User Services –>View/ Download Certificate.

Click on the ‘Download’ button on the screen to download the certificate. The certificate includes all the features of the tax transactions.

The certificate includes all the features of the business. On the first page, fundamental details like name, address, and date of enrollment of the business are disclosed.

The second page is ‘Annexure A’ which includes features of any additional place of business.

What is the Time Limit/Validity For GST Registration Certificate?

GST registration certificates declared to general taxpayers do not have an expiry. Therefore, as long as the GST registration does not surrender or remove by GST authority, it would continue to remain valid.

However, in the case of casual taxable person GST registration or non-resident taxable person GST registration, the validity is limited to a maximum of 90 days. The taxpayer can extend the validity of the GST certificate or restore at the end of the validity period.
