Revised MSME Definition – The Atmanirbhar Bharat Package

The government of India revised the definition of MSMEs under the Atmanirbhar Bharat package in May 2020. As per the new definition, businesses with a turnover of up to Rs. 5 crore and an investment of up to Rs. 1 crore are considered micro-enterprises. Those with a turnover of up to Rs. 50 crore and an investment of up to Rs. 10 crore are considered small enterprises.
