Arya Samaj is a monotheistic Indian Hindu reform movement based on the belief that the Vedas are infallible. The sannyasi Dayanand Saraswati founded the samaj on 7 April 1875. The Arya Samaj was the first Hindu organisation to introduce proselytisation.

The event is carried out in an Arya Samaj temple in accordance with Vedic customs. The chants spelt during the ceremony are conveyed to the bride and groom in accordance with Vedic principles. In fact, an Arya Samaj marriage is similar to Hindu marriage as it takes place over a fire. It is also legally recognised as a result of the Arya Samaj Marriage

Two types of Marriage Registrations
