Steps to Check the Registration Status of a Company 

Step 1: Firstly, simply log on to the official MCA website in order to access the portal. The official link to the MCA website has been given here: http://www.mca.gov.in/ 

Step 2: Once you are logged in to the home page of the website. The next step is to select the ‘MCA Services’ tab. Once you select the tab, it will direct you to the opening of a drop-down. Likewise, the entire list of services will appear in the drop-down. The next step is to click on the tab which reads- ‘View Company/LLP Master Data’. 

Step 3: Now you will be redirected to a form where you must fill in the company CIN. Once the CIN is entered, enter the captcha code and click on ‘Submit.  Moreover, in case you do not have the company CIN Number, the same can also be found by clicking on the search icon beside the ‘Company/LLP Name’ field [highlighted in red].

  1. CIN/LLPIN/1A Ref No.
  2. Company or LLP name
  3. State in which the company is operating
  4. Registration date
  5. Company status
  6. ROC information and registration number of the company
  7. Company category, for instance, a company limited by shares or guarantee or an unlimited company
  8. Class of company (public or private company.)
  9. The authorised capital of the company and the paid-up capital of the company
  10. Date of incorporation
  11. Address and email of the company
  12. The listing status of the company
  13. Date of last annual general meeting and company status
