The Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO) stands as a vital entity within the Ministry of Labour and Employment under the Government of India. Step 3: Receive OTP

Check and verify all the provided details on the EPFO page. Tick the check-box next to “I Agree.

Step 5: Validate OTP and Activate UAN

 Paste the OTP received on your phone in the designated field next to ‘Enter OTP’. Click ‘Validate OTP and Activate UAN’.

Step 6: Wait for Activation

Your UAN will be activated, and a password will be sent to your mobile number. Please wait for six hours before logging in to the EPFO portal to check your PF balance.

Step 7: Check PF Balance

After six hours, log in to the EPFO portal using your UAN and the received password to check your PF balance.

Know Your UAN Status

Step 1: Visit Unified EPFO Portal

 Go to the Unified EPFO portal at https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/. Click on ‘Know your UAN status’ on the right side of the page.

Step 2: Enter Personal Details

Choose one of three options:

     – Option 1: Enter state, select office, and input member ID.

     – Option 2: Provide Aadhaar card details.

     – Option 3: Enter PAN card details, along with personal information like Name, Date of 

Birth, Mobile Number, Email ID, and Captcha. 

Click ‘Get Authorisation Pin.

Step 3: Validate Mobile Number with OTP

Receive an OTP on the registered mobile number. Confirm details, check ‘I Agree’ box, enter OTP, and click ‘Validate OTP’ to obtain UAN.

Step 4: Receive UAN on Mobile

 Upon entering the OTP, the UAN will be sent to the registered mobile number

 If the person already has a UAN, it will be sent accordingly. If not, a message will indicate the UAN is yet to be allotted.

This UAN status check ensures the verification and updating of UAN details, confirming its current status.

1. Visit UAN Login Portal
2. Click ‘Forgot Password’
