Basava Vasati Yojana 2023

The Karnataka State Government has announced the Basava Vasati Yojana, an initiative to provide housing for all. Under this scheme, the government will provide financial assistance of up to ₹2 lakhs to each eligible family for the construction of their own homes. priority will be given to families living below the poverty line, Scheduled Castes/Scheduled Tribes, and other disadvantaged groups. The scheme will also benefit families who are currently residing in rented houses or are living in houses that are in a bad condition.

Selection Process

The Karnataka State Government’s Basava Vasati Yojana initiative is a housing scheme that aims to provide affordable housing for the economically weaker sections of society. The selection process for the beneficiaries of this scheme is as follows:

1) Applicants must be residents of Karnataka.

2) Applicants must belong to the economically weaker sections of society, as defined by the Government of Karnataka.

5) Preference will be given to applicants who do not own any other property anywhere in India.

6) The final selection of beneficiaries will be made by a committee constituted by the Government of Karnataka.

Procedure to Apply for Basava Vasati Yojana

To apply for the Basava Vasati Yojana, applicants will need to submit an online application form which is available online.  Along with the completed application form, candidates will need to submit supporting documents such as proof of identity, proof of residence, income tax returns, and bank statements. Once the application form and supporting documents have been submitted, a committee will review the applications and award the grants based on financial need and merit.

• On this page, you will find a list of all districts where the scheme is applicable. Find your district and click on it to proceed further. 
• A new page will open with a list of all sub-districts under that district. Find your sub-district and click on it to proceed further. 
• A new page will open with a list of all villages/towns under that sub-district where the scheme is applicable. 
• Find your village/town and click on it to proceed further. 
• A new page will open with a list of all beneficiaries under that village/town. 
• Find your name in the list to verify your beneficiary status.

Procedure to Check Name Correction Report

1. Visit the official website
2. On the homepage, click on the ‘Name Correction Report’ tab under the ‘Important Links’ section.
3. A new page will open where you will have to enter your application number and date of birth in the given fields.
4. Click on the ‘Submit’ button and your report will be displayed on the screen.
