This sum will be distributed to farmers who grow maize, kodo, kutki, soyabean, arhar, and sugarcane. Aside from that, if the farmer sells paddy at the minimum support price in 2020-21 and instead of paddy, the farmer plants crops such as Kodo Kutki, Sugarcane, Arhar, Maize, Soybean, Pulses, Oilseeds, Aromatic Paddy, Banana, Papaya, and so on. In the case of tree plantation, the farmer will receive an input assistance payment of ₹10,000 per acre. Farmers who plant trees will receive three years of input assistance.
Who Are Eligible to Avail Benefits Under Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana 2023?
- This scheme is only open to state paddy farmers.
- All categories of landowners and forest leafers will be eligible for the Rajiv Gandhi Kisan Nyay Yojana 2023, but institutional landholder farmers, Regha, Bataidar, and leafy farmers will not be.
- When determining farmer eligibility, the provisions of all agricultural land ceiling laws will be followed.
