To apply for the Haryana Kisan Mitra Yojana 2022, eligible beneficiaries must submit their application online. Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and associated lockdowns, the economy has been negatively impacted. To address this, the Haryana government has launched the Kisan Mitra Yojana to provide citizens with access to various government benefits.
Launch of Kisan Mitra Yojana
The Haryana government announced the budget for the financial year 2021-22 on March 12th. One of the key decisions taken by the government in this budget was the launch of the Kisan Mitra Yojana. This scheme will benefit all farmers with 2 acres or less of land.
The Kisan Mitra Yojana offers a range of services to farmers, including cash withdrawal, deposit, balance inquiry, PIN change, new PIN generation, mini statement checking, chequebook request, Aadhaar number updation request, mobile number updation, and other related services. Additionally, in partnership with a bank, 1000 Kisan ATMs will be set up under this scheme.
Not only will farmers benefit from this scheme, but also those in animal husbandry, dairy, horticulture, and other related sectors. The Haryana Kisan Mitra Yojana 2022 aims to empower and enable farmers in the state and help develop related areas. An additional grant of ₹15 crore will be provided through the Kisan Mitra Yojana.
