NTR Bharosa Pension Eligibility Requirements

  1. Old Age Pension: This pension is available to both men and women who are at least 65 years old and in need.
  2. Weavers Pension: The age requirement for weavers to receive the NTR Bharosa pension is 50 years or older.
  3. Widow Pension: The widow is qualified for an Bharosa pension if she is 18 years of age or older.
  4. Disabled Pension: There is no maximum age for disabled people. NTR Bharosa Pension is available to people with disabilities who have at least a 40% disability.
  5. Fishermen Pension: Fishermen must be at least 50 years old.
  6. Transgender Pension: Anyone who identifies as transgender and is at least 18 years old is eligible for this scheme.

  9. Antiretroviral Therapy Pension: There is no upper age requirement for ART pension.A person who has been receiving ART for six months straight is eligible for the program for the above pension. Without taking ART into account, a pension will be given if an individual is already covered by any other Social Security pension category.
  10. Chronic Kidney Disease of Unknown Aetiology Pension: The CKDU pension has no upper age limit. Patients receiving continuous kidney dialysis, even those who are already covered by any type of Social Security pension plan, are qualified for NTR Bharosa pension.

1: Inclusion Factors

The following individuals will receive preference.

  1. In agency areas, ST households, especially PVTG households.

  4. Daily workers. 
  5. Tribes of Nomads Without a Permanent Home. 
  6. Families with needy or orphan children.

  9. Similar impoverished homes. 

2: Exclusion Factors

  1. PSU and State/Central Government Employees. 
  2. Retired government employees. 
  3. Income tax filers. 
  4. Landowners with a little more over 2.5 acres of wetland and 5 acres of dryland or even more over 5 acres of both wet and dryland. 
  5. externalised personnel. 
  6. Private-sector paid. 
  7. Vehicle owner. 
  8. Pension holders for Freedom Fighters. 

3: Application for NTR Bharosa Pension: Required Documents

  1. A picture of the applicant.
  2. Aadhaar ID number. 
  3. Account Number for a Savings Bank. 
  4. Age verification. 
  5. In the case of widows, a photocopy of the husband’s death certificate should be used.
  6. Photographic proof of membership in the Toddy Tappers Cooperative Society. 
  7. A photocopy of the weaver’s registration in the cooperative society of weavers should be submitted.
  8. 40% SADAREM Certificate for people with disabilities. 

Process for Applying for NTR Bharosa Pension

These steps can be used by someone who wants to apply for pension.

Step 1: Submit an application through the Grama Panchayat with the properly completed form and the required documentation.

Step 2: After receiving the application from the Grama Panchayat, the Janmabhoomi committees will examine each applicant’s specific information.

Step 3: Following approval by the Janma Bhoomi committee, the MPDO or Municipal Commissioner will attach the eligible list to DRDA.

  • Note: A campaign called Janmabhoomi oversees and works on development initiatives through JBMV committees or Village Development Committees, implements government welfare programmes, and takes on measures such as face-to-face conversations with citizens to get their feedback.
  • Rural – In favour of eligible individuals suggested by the Janmabhoomi Committees, the MPDO is perhaps the legitimising authority for all NTR Bharosa Pension.
  • Urban – The Janmabhoomi Committees’ eligible candidates are recommended to the Municipal Commissioner, who has the authority to sanction all pensions in their favour. 
  • Release of financing to something like the Panchayat Secretary or Bill Collector by the Municipal Commissioner or Mandal Parishad Development Officer. 

Step 4: The pensioner will be given a Pensioner ID once the pension has been approved. The pensioner’s information will be online.

Step 5: In the presence of the Sarpanch or Ward Member and members of the Gram Panchayat or Ward, the Panchayat Worker will distribute pension plans straightforwardly to the retirees in the village or ward.

Step 6: The retirement disbursement officers have been given tabs and biometric devices to enable them to pay beneficiaries’ pension amounts on a monthly basis.

Step 7: For Leprosy and bedridden pensioners, doorstep payments will be made, and on the first of every month, pensions will be distributed at a set location and time slot designated by the committee.
