The distance is 1700 kilometres and people have to face a lot of challenges. To reduce the financial load, the government of Karnataka decided to fund the Kashi Yatra. They have already provided ₹5000 to 30000 pilgrims. It will be provided as a subsidy.

Bharat Gaurav Train for Yatra
The Bharat Gaurav train goes from Bangalore to Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh, and it stops in both Ayodhya and Prayagraj. The government has the legal authority to spend 500 crores on the Bharat Gaurav train. This train travels 4100 kilometres in 7 days and contains 14 coaches, including eleven AC 3-tier coaches. Bhajans are also sung during their Kashi Yatra. The total cost is ₹15000 where ₹5000 is provided.

Steps for Kashi Yatra Scheme Registration 2023
- Go to the official website of the Kashi Yatra Scheme.
- On the homepage, select the Kashi Visit Government Subsidy option.
- Click on, Don’t have an account? Register here, on the new page.
- You can now connect your DigiLocker account to the Seva Sindhu Karnataka app.
- To proceed using DigiLocker, you must enter your Aadhaar number.
- You must also enter your Aadhaar number and click the next button.
- They will complete your identification process after linking your DigiLocker account to your Seva Sindhu account.
- After registering, you can return to the same Kashi Govt Subsidy and log in with your own username and password.
- After successfully logging in, you must fill out form 2 and follow the instructions to properly enrol in this scheme.
Steps to Register and Apply Directly on the Seva Sindhu Website
- Visit the Seva Sindhu Portal’s main website.
- On the homepage, click the Apply for Services button.
- Then select New User and Register Here from the drop-down menus.
- Your DigiLocker account can be linked to the Seva Sindhu Karnataka application.
- You must provide your Aadhaar number here to continue using DigiLocker.
- After that, before proceeding, you must again provide your Aadhaar number and complete the registration
- For the OTP you receive through email or mobile, you must enter your password, email address, or cellphone number.
- To apply for the Kashi Yatra scheme, go to this page and click the Submit button.
The Process to Check Your Application Status in Seva Sindhu
- Visit the Seva Sindhu portal’s main page.
- Click on the application status area on the home page
- You must now select your department as well as your service and enter the Application ID that you received when you submitted your application here.
- Click Check Status Now after successfully entering the information into the fields.
- Finally, you can check the status of your application in Seva Sindhu.
