The Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister grants 261.51 billion through the YSR Vahana Mitra programme. The AP government gives an annual cash assistance of 10,000 to auto, taxi, and maxi driver/owners through the YSR Vahana Mitra programme. YSR Vahana Mitra – Phase 3

On Tuesday, June 15, 2022, the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh will release financial assistance under the third phase of the YSR Vahana Mitra. A total of 2,48,468 beneficiaries would receive 10,000 in their bank accounts. The government has set aside 248.47 crores to ensure the third phase’s success. As we all know, financial help under this plan has been granted to drivers who operate their own auto taxis and Maxi cabs in order to cover vehicle expenses. The state administration has decided to lend a helping hand to the state’s drivers.

Phase 2

In the first year of the YSR Vahana Mitra initiative, the government distributed 10000 to about 2,363,43 beneficiaries. And the second phase of this scheme the beneficiaries have expanded to roughly 2,73,4076. Because many auto drivers have yet to apply for this plan, the Government of Andhra Pradesh has extended the application deadline to July 4, 2015. With this expansion, about 11,501 new beneficiaries have been added. The Government of Andhra Pradesh deposited 10,000 to the bank accounts of the 11,501 awardees on November 9, 2020.And the entire amount of financial help provided to recipients under this scheme is around 510 crore.

Implementation

The scheme’s implementation process has been simplified and tailored to the beneficiaries’ financial and educational backgrounds. Drivers can apply at the E-Service, Me-Service, CSC, MDO, and Municipal Commissioner’s offices from the DTC level of the Transport Department to the MVI office. To make the process easier, applications were also made available to town and ward volunteers. It is also stated that the programme will be launched on June 4. Furthermore, individuals who applied a year ago do not need to resubmit.
