Uttar Pradesh Jhatpat Bijli or UPPCL Jhatpat Connection Yojana has been launched by the state government to provide instant electricity connections at affordable rates to BPL category families and other categories of families falling above the poverty line of Uttar Pradesh.
In order to provide free electricity connections to poor families in Uttar Pradesh, the Power Corporation Department has developed an official website to take in online applications. Persons from BPL category families who fall below the state’s poverty line and people from APL category families who fall above the state’s poverty line who want to apply for an energy connection under this UPPCL Jhatpat Connection Scheme 2023, can make applications to the Power Corporation. UPPCL Jhatpat Connection: Scheme Framework
People from low-income households in Uttar Pradesh can now apply online for getting an electricity connection in their homes.
When applying for a 1 to 25 KW electricity connection under the Jhatpat Connection Yojana, BPL category beneficiaries must pay a fee of ₹ 10 and APL category families must pay a fee of ₹100. - From this part, you will notice the option to Apply for New Electricity Connection & Load Enhancement (Jhatpat Connection). You must click on this link.
- The following page will appear once you click on the link. On this screen, you must select the option Click Here for New Registration.
- Another page will appear when you click on the option. On this page, you must enter all of the requested information, such as the applicant’s name, date of birth, email address, mobile phone number, and captcha code, among other things.
- After entering all of your information, click the Register button. Your new registration will now be completed.

Beneficiaries who want to update their mobile phone number can use the process outlined below:
- To begin, go to the Jhatpat Connection Yojana’s official website. The home page will appear once you visit the official website.
- On this home page, there is an option to Update Mobile Number (Urban). You must select this option. The next page will appear when you click on the option.
- On this page, you must enter all of the requested information, such as your account number, bill number, SBM bill number, and so on.
- After entering all of your information, click the Continue button. Your mobile number will now have been successfully updated.
