  7. Once the details you entered are correct, a new page will pop up that shows the following message: PAN is Active, and the provided details match.

In case the details do not match, the following message will pop up on the screen: In the past, the IT Department had a ‘Know your Permanent Account Number’ service. However, they discontinued it and replaced it with the Verify your PAN Details option.
