IFMS Punjab: Registration, Login and Verify Challan

Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS) is a computer-based system designed to integrate and automate various financial management functions within a government organisation.

The Punjab Government has implemented the Integrated Financial Management System (IFMS Punjab) to facilitate payment collection from various departments. The IFMS Punjab portal allows users to make challan payments both online and offline, eliminating the need for physical visits to the treasury and department. To use the online payment feature, users must register on the IFMS Punjab portal. In this article, we will outline the steps for logging into the portal, registering, generating and paying for challans, updating profiles and accounts, verifying payments and challans, etc.

The implementation of eReceipt has also prevented the repeated use of challans in various treasuries.

How to Register in IFMS Punjab for Challan Payment 

To create an account on the portal, complete all the steps listed below:

  • Step 1: Visit the official IFMS Punjab website first and click the E-receipt Tab on the homepage
  • Step 2: The ‘Registration User’ option is located underneath the login form when you click, which then displays in front of you
  • Step 3: The registration form will appear on your screen after you click
  • Step 4: Confirm the availability of your user ID before entering your information, including the captcha code, along with your First Name, Last Name, DOB, Email, Address, PAN Number, and Mobile Number
  • Step 5: Once all the information has been entered, click the register button
  • Step 6: Get the OTP sent to your mobile number now, then input it
  • Step 7: You have now completed your registration on the portal.

How to Log in to IFMS Punjab

  • Step 1: Visit the official website first
  • Step 2: Select the e-Receipt tab on the homepage
  • Step 3: Now, the login page will be displayed on your screen
  • Step 4: Type in your username, password, and captcha code
  • Step 5: Click the login button now
  • Step 6: You have now successfully entered the portal.

Pay Challan in IFMS? 

  • Step 1: Visit the IFMS Punjab official website
  • Step 2: You can select the E-Receipt tab from the main page’s options by clicking on it
  • Step 3: Now, log in to the login page with your username and password
  • Step 4: Dashboard will appear on your screen after you log in
  • Step 5: Select Create Profile, then provide the necessary information (Department, Sub Department, etc.)
  • Step 6: Then select Make Payment
  • Step 7: Now, Pay Challan in IFMS 
  • Step 8: Now enter the challan’s information, including the payment’s vital nature, the year, the term, the amount, etc
  • Step 9: Choose your preferred payment method—cash, check, or direct debit
  • Step 10: Click on the submit button 
  • Step 11: The payment page will now appear on your screen. Check all the information, then click the Confirm button to produce a challan
  • Step 12: The challan can now be downloaded.

How to Verify Challan? 

  • Step 1: Visit the official website first
  • Step 2: Access the receipt tab from the homepage
  • Step 3: Then, select the e-Receipt tab
  • Step 4: Visit the Verify Challan link on the next page
  • Step 5: Enter your GRN number now without the first two digits (0)
  • Step 6: Then, enter the captcha code
  • Step 7: To check challan submission, click the button
  • Step 8: The details of the payment challan are now displayed.

Forgot GRN Number?

  • Step 1: First, go to the IFMS Punjab official website
  • Step 2: You can choose the e-receipt tab from the list of tabs on the site by clicking on the receipt tab
  • Step 3: On the following screen, select Forgot GRN
  • Step 4: Input the captcha code after selecting your GRN (By Dept Ref No, By Bank Ref No, By Bank SIN, By Email ID, By Date and Amount, By Mobile Number, Date and Amount)
  • Step 5: Select the submit button, click
  • Step 6: The GRNS list will now be sent to your cell phone.

IFMS Punjab Treasury Login

Punjab Government Treasury Online Panel access is available to officers with DDO or higher ranks.

  • Step 1: You can log in at https://ifms.punjab.gov.in, which is the official website
  • Step 2: Click on the eTreasury bold text after that
  • Step 3: The user will be directed to the following page, where they must enter their username, password, and the captcha that is displayed on the screen before clicking Login
  • Step 4: A person must have access rights to the location in order to access the eTreasury Punjab.
