What Are the Eligibility Criteria for GST Enrollment?

Turnover in Total

Any service provider that delivers services worth more than ₹20 lakhs in a calendar year is needed to register for GST. This maximum is ₹10 lakhs in special category states. Any firm involved in the exclusive supply of products with an annual turnover of more than ₹40 lakhs is needed to register for GST.

Interstate Commerce

Regardless of their aggregate turnover, an organization must register for GST if they supply goods interstate, from one state to another. Inter-state service companies must register for GST only if their yearly sales exceed ₹20 lakhs. (This maximum is ₹10 lakhs in special category states).

Non-Resident Taxable Individual

Individuals residing outside of India are classified as non-resident taxable persons. Taxpayers should also provide products or services to Indian residents.
