The Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi, is making every effort to simplify facilities for citizens through the Digital India campaign. To further this cause, the Bhulekh UP Portal has been launched. This allows Uttar Pradesh citizens to access land information through the portal. This article provides more information about it.

Bhulekh UP Khasra Khatauni 2023

The Uttar Pradesh Government has launched the UP Bhulekh Portal to provide citizens with complete information about their land. This eliminates the need for visits to government offices and offers a convenient, time-saving and transparent solution for obtaining land information from home. 

The portal computerises all land records and streamlines daily activities. Citizens can also use the portal to deposit ownership rights and access information about land freezes, Khasra, Khatauni land maps, etc. The portal has been in operation since 2 May 2016.

Bhulekh UP Portal (upbhulekh.gov.in)

The Uttar Pradesh Bhulekh portal offers a convenient way to obtain full land ownership rights by providing accurate information. Before this portal, residents of the state would have to travel to Parvarkhane to access their land’s Jamabandi, Khasra, Khatauni, and land map and endure various difficulties. Now, with this online platform, state residents can easily view their land information from the comfort of their own homes with an internet connection.

Bhulekh UP 2023: UP Heritage Campaign

The Uttar Pradesh government has initiated the UP Varasat Abhiyan, aimed at registering disputed successions in Khatauni. This drive will run from 15th December to 15th February. The government has established a helpline number and email ID to ensure its successful implementation. Upon the campaign’s conclusion, the government will dispatch teams to various districts to ensure no undisputed succession has been missed and recorded in Khatauni.

The government has provided a helpline number, 0522-2620477, for individuals to reach out and receive assistance. In addition, there is also the CM Helpline, 1076, that can be contacted for support. Lastly, individuals can also register their complaints via email.

The government is running the digitisation process, and as a result, the Uttar Pradesh government launched the Bhulekh UP portal on 2 May 2016. This portal computerised all land records and is now available in all tehsils of Uttar Pradesh. This portal brings transparency to the system, saving both time and money.

Bhulekh UP 2023: Component

  • Jamabandi/Fard contains main land record information such as:
    • Owner name
    • Cultivator name
    • Khasra number
    • Land area
    • Crop details
    • Patta details, etc.
  • Khasra number is a unique plot number or survey number assigned to agricultural land by the state government
  • Khata/Khewat Number is a number assigned to a group of owners who own a piece of land with different khasra numbers
  • Khatauni a Number is a number assigned to a group of cultivators who cultivate land portions with different khasra numbers.

Bhulekh UP 2023: How to See Bhulekh UP Jamabandi Nakal Khasra Khatauni

  • Step 1: Visit the official website of https://upbhulekh.gov.in/
  • Step 2: List of online facilities will open
  • Step 3: To see a copy of Khasra Khatauni, click on the option of Khasra copy
  • Step 4: Fill in the captcha code and click on the submit button
  • Step 5: New page opens, enter the following information:
    • District
    • Tehsil
    • Village
    • Khasra/Khatauni number or survey number or lease information
  • Step 6: Select the appropriate search option:
    • Khasra/Gata number
    • Account number
    • Account holder name
    • Mutation
  • Step 7: Enter required details and click on submit
  • Step 8: All information of Bhulekh will be displayed on the computer screen.
