The Aatmnirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana encourages businesses to create jobs. This programme has been extremely beneficial to workers who lost their jobs due to coronavirus illness and who haven’t worked in an institution covered by the EPF since September 30, 2020.

If a new hire is registered under EPFO in any organisation and their salary or salary is less than 15,000 per month, or if they are an individual whose job was lost between March 1, 2020, and September 30, 2020, and they got a job again after October 1, 2020, and they are registered under the Employees Provident Fund Fund, the Central Government will provide benefits under the scheme.

The scheme has now been extended by the government till March 31, 2022.

Who Are Eligible to Avail Benefits Under Aatmnirbhar Bharat Rojgar Yojana 2023?

  • This program’s benefits are available to newly hired employees who were hired between 1 October 2020 and 30 June 2021.
  • Every new hire must have a UAN that has been seeded with their Aadhaar.
  • The benefit under this scheme will be paid for the salary month in which the employee is employed in any eligible establishment
  • Employees will not be eligible if their monthly salary at any point in time exceeds ₹14999 rupees.

In order to avail of the benefits of the scheme the applicant must keep the following documents and information handy – 

  • Aadhar card 
  • Employee Registration under EPFO
  • Passport size photos

How to Register for the Scheme?

  • You must first go to the EPFO’s official website. The home page will now appear before you.
  • You must select the Services tab on the home page.
  • You must now select the Employees tab.
  • After that, you must click the Register Here link.
  • The Registration Form will now appear before you.
  • You must fill out the registration form with all necessary information, such as your name, email address, mobile number, etc.
  • You must then click on ‘Submit.’
