Telangana Income Certificate: Easy Application Process

The official document that holds the information regarding Telangana Income Certificate from all the sources of a family or an individual is known as Income Certificate. In other words, it is an official document issued by the government confirming an individual's or a family's annual income.

Primary usage of income certificate is knowing whether the person is eligible for paying tax or availing of several schemes. How to Apply Telangana Income Certificate Offline

You can follow the steps that are mentioned below:

Step 1: Visit a Meeseva Center Near You or Download the Form Online

Approach the Meeseva center near you to get an application form for Rs. 10. 

Step 2: Fill up the Details in the Form

Enter the details in the form without any mistakes. Avoid rewriting or overwriting because that can make your application invalid.

You have to enter the details that are in the list below:

  • Full name of the applicant
  • Name of the father
  • Name of the Mother
  • Residential details
  • Total income of the family
  • Sources of income
  • Earning members of the family
  • Reason for applying for income certificate

Step 3: Sign the Form

The applicant should sign the application form. After that, also get the signature from the deponent. 

Step 4: Attach the Required Documents

Attach a copy of the required documents to the application form. The documents required for it are mentioned above.

Step 5: Submit the Form

Visit the nearest Meeseva center and submit your form along with the documents. Before submitting the form, check whether the details are filled in or not.

Step 6: Message Receive

Once you submit the form with documents, you will receive a text message on the registered mobile number about the details of the income certificate. The message also includes the transaction number mainly along with several other details.

Step 7: Verification

The Mandal officer is responsible for verifying the application; hence, the application is sent to them. After the verification, your certificate is issued in a week and valid for a year from that date

You can also apply online for the Telangana Income Certificate if you cannot visit the Meeseva center for some reason. It is an easy, quick, and much more convenient way of issuing an income certificate.

How to Apply Income Certificate in Telangana Online

You can follow the steps that are mentioned below:

  • Step 1: Visit the official Mee Seva online portal and log in to your account by clicking on the citizen option and then filling out your login details. If you are a new user, create a new account by clicking on New User on the login page, filling out the required details, and clicking on Submit.
  • Step 2: Once logged into the account, go to the revenue section. You will find many options and click on the income certificate.
  • Step 3: A form will appear on your screen after clicking on the income certificate. Carefully fill out the form with all the details that are required. Recheck the details once you have filled them. You will have to fill in the details such as the name of the applicant, gender, phone number, date of birth, email, I.D. number, parents’ name, Adhaar card number, Ration card number, City, Street name, Door number, District, and Pin code.
  • Step 4: Attach the scanned copies of the required documents in the prescribed format. Once done, recheck them also.
  • Step 5: After you have filled out the form and attached the documents, make the payment of the said amount.
  • Step 6: A receipt will be generated with the date of certificate delivery once the payment is confirmed.
  • Step 7: Then, the application goes into the process of being approved. It may not take more than a day or two for your application to get approved.
  • Step 8: After the application for the income certificate is approved, a text message is sent to the registered mobile number stating the same and the application number. It also mentions the place from where you have to pick up your certificate. The certificate comes in 7 days and is valid for one year only.

How to Download Telangana Income Certificate

There are two ways to download an Telangana Income Certificate: online and offline.

Online Method

  1. Visit the Telangana MeeSeva website (https://ts.meeseva.telangana.gov.in/)
  2. Click on the “Services” tab and select “Income Certificate” from the list of services.
  3. Click “Apply Online” and enter the required details, such as your name, address, and contact information.
  4. Upload the necessary documents, including your Aadhaar card, address, and income proof.
  5. Pay the application fee and submit the form.
  6. Once your application is processed, you can download your income certificate from the website.

Offline Method

  1. Visit your nearest MeeSeva centre.
  2. Provide the MeeSeva operator with your Aadhaar card and other relevant documents.
  3. Pay the application fee and submit the required documents.
  4. You will receive your income certificate within a few days.

Telangana Income Certificate Status Check

To check the certificate status within those seven days, you can log into the Mee Seva portal and enter the application number in the income certification section. Once the application number is entered, click on “Go”. You will see the status of your income certificate on the screen.

Income Certificate Fees in Telangana

The total fee for issuing an income certificate in Telangana is Rs. 45. Out of which Rs. 10 is for the application fee, and Rs. 35 is charged for the application and certificate.
