The Chief Minister also reviewed the progress of the Nadu-Nadu scheme in the state. Mr. Srinivasulu had added that tight security arrangements were made at the venue.

The objective of the state government is to increase the literacy rate and Gross Enrollment Ratio (GER) in schools through various initiatives. In the first phase of the Naadu Nedu Scheme, restoration work on 12,365 schools has already commenced. The government of Andhra Pradesh has identified 9 essential components, including restrooms, fans, drinking water, furniture, repairs, compound walls, and English labs, for improving the school infrastructure. The Mana Badi Nadu Nedu scheme will cover approximately 45,000 schools, colleges, and hostels.
