The Uttar Pradesh Family Register (Parivar Register Nakal) is a system for maintaining records of families in the state of Uttar Pradesh, India. The register is maintained by the state government and contains information on families such as their members, their relationships, and their residency status. The purpose of the Uttar Pradesh Family Register is to provide a comprehensive and accurate record of families in the state, which can be used for various purposes such as census, planning, and development programs. Additionally, the information stored in the register can be used for verification purposes, for example, for obtaining government services, subsidies, and benefits. The Uttar Pradesh government has established a program in which rural residents can access a range of government services at their nearest Panchayat Bhawan. With this program, citizens can avail of 29 government services, with 27 services provided for free and 2 services requiring a fee of ₹5 for a copy of the family register and birth certificate. The government has aimed to simplify government processes for rural residents and offer them convenient access to necessary services. For those who are unable to obtain their family register copy online or visit a Jan Suvidha Kendra, they can easily obtain these services at their nearest Panchayat Bhawan.

Benefits of UP Family Register

The UP Family Register is now available to state residents online, allowing them to do so in the comfort of their own homes. This document serves as the basis for calculating each family member’s income. By using this online platform, people may now obtain official documents without going to Panchayat, Tehsil, District, or Municipal Corporation offices. The people of Uttar Pradesh also save time and effort by doing this. Black marketeering will be eliminated with the establishment of the Uttar Pradesh Parivar Register Nakal, and state residents would have access to this programme to receive their pension.

Documents for Uttar Pradesh Parivar Register

  • Aadhar Card: Aadhar card is mandatory for every family member in India. It is the primary document needed to register with the Uttar Pradesh Parivar Register.
  • Address Proof: Any document that provides an address proof such as a ration card, electricity bill, water bill, gas bill, etc. will be accepted as valid proof of address.
  • Birth Certificate: Birth certificates are required for all family members who are minors. These should be provided with the registration.
  • Income Certificate: Income certificates are needed to prove the family’s income sources and the amount of income. This helps in determining the family’s eligibility for various government schemes and subsidies.
  • Caste Certificate: Caste certificates are mandatory for the registration of families belonging to the Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes in Uttar Pradesh.
  • Photographs: Photographs of all family members are required for the registration.

Applying to UP Parivar Portal for  Uttar Pradesh Family Register

  • To begin, the applicant must visit the official website. Next, the home page should appear, containing a New User Registration option.
  •  Clicking this will bring up the registration form, which must be completed with the required details, such as login id, name, date of birth, address, district, mobile number, captcha code, etc. 
  • Once all the information has been filled in, press the Save button. 
  • To log in, start from the home page again, and fill out the login form with the name, password/OTP and secure code. After submitting the details, the user should be logged in.

Filling Uttar Pradesh Family Register Online @familyid.up.gov.in

  • Once you select the option of filling the application, you will need to choose Kutumb Register Nakal from the list.
  •  After that, click on Application for Kutumb Register Nakal in order to open the online application form. 
  • Make sure to fill out the form accurately and upload your documents while providing the relevant document number. 
  • Once all information is verified, click submit and your application will be sent through successfully.
