New GST Number Online Registration, Documents Required

The GST Identification Number (GSTIN) is a one-of-a-kind registration identifier given to firms after they've completed their paperwork. It appears on all invoices that registered taxpayers and organizations send and receive.

Overview:

GST registration is the procedure through which businesses and other organizations can become subject to the GST Act of 2017. While not all businesses are required to enlist, there are some advantages to doing so. Additionally, firms that exceed a certain yearly turnover criterion must register a New GST Number Online.

Initially, the GST Act required enterprises with an annual turnover of more than ₹20 lakhs to register as taxable organizations. This ceiling was raised to ₹40 lakhs for manufacturers of goods as of April 1, 2019. The threshold level for service providers, on the other hand, remains at  ₹20 lakhs.
