Overview:
The Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana, launched by the Government of Rajasthan, is the state’s largest flagship scheme. Under this scheme, any family in the state will be able to receive free health-related treatment by paying only ₹ 850. Citizens of Rajasthan can register for free treatment under the Scheme until January 31. After registering, eligible beneficiaries will be able to take advantage of the scheme, which includes free treatment, beginning February 1. If the beneficiary registers after January 31, he will begin receiving benefits from this scheme on May 1.

The state government has set no age, age, class, or income limitations under Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana in order to provide benefits to citizens. So far, over 18 lakh patients in the state have benefited from free treatment under this scheme. A total of ₹ 2200 crore has been spent. To further expand this scheme, the rate and package of kidney transplants has been increased from ₹ 300000 to ₹ 600000.
Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana: Latest Updates
According to Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, the government has decided to include an organ transplant facility in the new Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme package. Aside from that, bone marrow transplants and cochlear implants will be available. Guidelines for the new package have been distributed to all hospitals affiliated with the scheme. Aside from that, significant changes have been made to the software.

The Rajasthan government has signed an agreement with Gujarat’s Prasanthi Medical Service and Research Foundation for heart patients. In the next two years, free treatment for heart diseases such as holes in the heart, angiography, angioplasty, and so on will be provided.
Benefits Under Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana
- The government has provided free surgery to approximately 1000 patients. In addition, all patients will be provided with free transportation to and from the hospital. The government will contribute ₹5,000 from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund.
- As the government is constantly working to improve the state’s healthcare services. Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot also urged all self-help groups to come forward and assist the people.
- The Rajasthan government approved an increase in the reimbursement sum paid to hospitals for various medical procedures under the Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana on December 3.
- Aside from that, some new healthcare packages have been added to the scheme. With the government’s decision, reputable private hospitals in the state will be able to participate in this scheme as well.
- Beneficiaries will also receive free treatment for organ and tissue transplant surgery, endoscopy, general surgery, gastrointestinal bleeding, neurosurgery, and other procedures.

- To take Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana forward, the government will organize tempos to examine and treat a variety of diseases. Such camps will also provide eye examinations.
- An operation camp will also be set up soon for all citizens with poor vision or cataracts. All citizens with tuberculosis will be tested and treated as soon as possible.

Registration and Fee of Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana
Beneficiaries will be required to pay an ₹ 850 premium under this Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. However, under the National Fertilizer Security and Socio-Economic Census 2011, 1,10,000 families, 13 lakh families of small and marginal farmers, and 4 lakh families of contract workers will not have to pay any premium to benefit from this scheme. Furthermore, all eligible families under the National Food Security Act and the Socio-Economic Census who are already receiving health insurance benefits do not need to register under this scheme.
Beneficiaries must bring their Janadhar and Aadhaar cards to register for the Chief Minister Mukhyamantri Chiranjeevi Swasthya Bima Yojana. All families who do not already have a Jan Aadhar card must first register for one. Only then will one be able to enroll in the Chief Minister Chiranjeevi Health Insurance Scheme.
