1. Safai Karamcharis, Scavengers, and Dependents:

 Individuals engaged in sanitation work, including Safai Karamcharis and Scavengers, along with their dependents, must be registered under NSKFD to be eligible for the loan schemes.

 Co-operative societies seeking loans must be registered under NSKFD to avail of the financial assistance.

3. Legally Constituted Firms and Associations:

Firms and associations legally constituted by the target group are eligible. They should produce certificates from Gazetted Officers, members of panchayat and municipal bodies, or regional managers of Regional Rural Banks (RRBs) and Nationalised Banks to validate their status.

4. Manual Scavengers under MS Act 2013:

 Individuals classified as manual scavengers under the MS Act 2013 are exempt from producing additional certificates once their names appear in the list of Manual Scavengers prepared by State Governments and Union Territories.

5. Priority Categories:

   – While there is no fixed income limit, priority will be given to:

   – Scavengers and Safai Karamcharis who fall below the poverty line.

   – Disabled individuals within the target group.

   – Women within the target group.

4. Sanction of Projects:

  Upon approval by the board of directors, SCAs/RRBs/Nationalised Banks issue the letter of sanction.

5. Release of Funds:

 After accepting the terms and conditions, NSKFD releases the necessary documents and funds to the beneficiaries. The funds are released upon receiving a demand from SCAs/RRBs/Nationalised Banks, considering all parameters outlined in the Lending Policies & Guidelines (LPG) of NSKFDC.
