The Karnataka government has introduced the Jyothi Sanjeevini Scheme to offer health insurance to state employees and their relatives. Identification Of Beneficiaries Under Jyothi Sanjeevini Scheme
The government insurance department policy number will be used to interface with the HRMS database of the department of personnel and administrative reforms will be used to identify beneficiaries under the Jyoti Sanjeevini Scheme. Beneficiaries may use the cashless system under this programme, with the following exceptions:-
- When the beneficiary chooses stents, implants, etc. that are more expensive than those covered by the benefit package
- When the beneficiary chooses a better ward than what is offered as part of the benefit package
- The beneficiary is responsible for paying the increased expenses in both situations.
