Login to ESIC Gateway
- Register yourself on the site ESIC as an employer.
- Go to the website of ESIC and click on the ‘Employer Login’ option on the home screen.
- A new page will appear before you, click on the ‘sign up’ button.
- Fill in the required information and submit the form.
Confirmation Mail
- Once you submit the form and Sign up into the portal you will receive a confirmation Mail.
- The Mail is sent to the registered email id and the mobile number entered by you at the time of sign-up.
- The confirmation mail will have the username and password details. You can use this to register for the ESIC scheme as an employee and employer.
Employer Registration Form-1
- Click on the ‘Employer login’ Option to log in to ESIC Portal. Enter your username and password received in the confirmation mail.
- You will be redirected to the ‘New Employer Registration’.
- Click on the option ‘New Employer Registration’.
- Select the option of ‘Type of Unit’ from the drop-down menu.
- Click on ‘Submit’.
- Employer registration form one will appear and you need to fill in the required details.
- In the form, the employer needs to enter details like establishment details and employee details. After completing the form click on submit button.
Registration Payment
- Submit the employee registration form payment has to be done.
- Payment of advance contribution page will appear and you have to select the payment mode.
- Employees need to pay for the registration as an advance contribution for 6 months.
Registration Letter
- After the payment is done, a registration letter is sent to the employer and it contains a 17-digit Registration number.
- A registration letter is proof of registration for an employer.
How to Change Gender in ESIC Gateway?
If you registered on to the ESIC portal and you later realise that you filled in the wrong gender by mistake or in the case of transgenders it is allowed to change the gender by going to your declaration form. The steps to change gender in the ESIC portal are
- Log into your ESIC portal account.
- Click on the Update IP Details Link.
- Enter the employer code and insurance number.
- The IP details appear when you click on the view button.
- The Declaration form appears.
- Change the “Gender” section.
- Accept the terms and Conditions and select the checkbox.
- At last click on the ‘update button’.
