CG RTE Admissions 2024-25
The Government of India enacted the Right to Education CG RTE Admission 2024-25 on 4 August 2009, which came into effect on 1 April 2010. The Act reserves 25% of seats for economically disadvantaged children in non-aided and minority private schools up to the 8th grade. In Chhattisgarh, this scheme was implemented from the academic session of 2010-11 and was initially limited to 8th grade. However, the scheme was revised in 2019, and now students in Chhattisgarh are eligible for free education up to the 12th grade.
Children between the ages of 3 to 6.5 years in the state are eligible for admission to private schools under this scheme. Once admitted, students can receive free education up to the 12th grade. As of now, 2.9 lakh students in Chhattisgarh have benefitted from this scheme. The revised scheme will extend the benefits to all students in the state and help in eliminating discrimination in society.
The Objective of CG Rte Admission
The main objective of CG RTE Admission is to provide free and compulsory education to economically weaker children in Chhattisgarh. The admission process reserves 25% of seats in non-aided and minority private schools up to the 12th grade for eligible children under the Right to Education Act. This scheme aims to eliminate discrimination in society by providing equal education opportunities to all children in the state. Additionally, it aims to promote a more educated and literate society, thereby contributing to the overall development of the state.
