The portal is an upgraded version of the citizen service portal, designed to provide better access to various services for people. It will be used by officials at all levels, from the village or ward secretariat to the top authority. By providing a digital platform, the government intends to deliver its services transparently.

With the help of AP Seva Portal 2.0, residents of Andhra Pradesh will be able to track the status of their applications and receive updates on the progress of their requests through SMS notifications. The portal also features a payment gateway for accessing paid services.

AP Seva Portal 2.0 Services

Government services are now easily accessible to citizens residing in remote villages. With the use of an improved portal, a total of 117 services across various departments can be availed of from the comfort of one’s doorstep. 

These services include 30 services related to revenue and land administration, 25 services from municipal administration, 6 services from civil supplies, 3 services from rural development, and 53 services from the energy department.

Moreover, this portal allows for the approval of applications and the provision of certificates and documents online with a digital signature by officials. The portal can be accessed from any village or ward secretariat.

To ensure efficient delivery of services at the local level, a volunteer system has been introduced where about four lakh people are actively involved in providing about 540 services directly to citizens. Since January 2020, the village or ward secretariat has provided over 3.46 crore government services.
