Who Are Eligible to Avail Benefits Under BMSSY 2024?
- The applicant must be a permanent resident of Bihar
- The farmer must have cultivatable land.
- In the case of an actual cultivator + own landholder, the sharecropper must attach a self-declaration along with the land document.

Benefits of BMSSY
- Under this scheme, farmers in non-irrigated areas will receive a grant of ₹ 6800 per hectare, while farmers in irrigated areas will receive a grant of ₹13500 per hectare.
- Subsidies will be given at the rate of ₹12,200 per hectare for cultivable land with a sand/silt concentration of more than 3 inches.
- An affected farmer can receive a grant for up to two hectares and will receive a minimum grant of ₹1000 under the Agricultural Input Grant Scheme.
