Objective Of The Scheme:
The announcement to start Vidya Sambal Yojana Rajasthan by the Rajasthan government was made during the budget 2021-22. This scheme will now be started in Rajasthan. Through this scheme, guest faculty will be appointed to meet the shortage of staff in schools, colleges and government educational institutions run by the Government of Rajasthan. This appointment will be done after counting the vacant posts of educational level. Through this scheme, the syllabus will be completed in time in educational institutions. Apart from this, quality improvement can be brought in the education system of Rajasthan through Rajasthan Vidya Sambal Yojana . Additionally, unemployed candidates will also be able to get employment. The selection of guest faculty can be done directly by the head of the institution and on the basis of qualification and experience of the teachers by a committee selected by the district collector. A release has been issued by the Rajasthan Education Department. According to which 93000 guest faculty posts will be recruited in all the schools of the state.
The list will be prepared after the candidates apply through the Rajasthan Vidya Sambal Yojana 2023. The merit list will be prepared by adding 75% of the marks obtained in the educational qualification and 25% marks in the educational qualification, on the basis of which the appointment will be made. Teachers will be appointed on the following posts.
- Senior teacher
- Lecturer
- Teacher level I
- Teacher level II
- Lab assistant
- Physical education teacher
Eligibility For The Posts:
There is an age limit of 65 years to apply for any of the posts under the scheme. Furthermore, there are certain educational qualifications required for different posts. They are as follows:

The appointment will take place on the following additional conditions:
- The posts on which the process of literacy has been done at least once but still the posts have not been filled, guest faculty teachers will be recruited on vacant posts through Vidya Sambal Yojana.
- Only private candidates and retired teachers will be able to apply as guest faculty.
- Retired teacher is eligible to apply as guest faculty on the same post he was working at the time of retirement.
- There will be no compulsion for retired teachers to pass the REET exam for teacher level 1 and 2.
- Retired teachers can work as guest faculty only till the age of 65 years.
- The appointment of teachers will be done under the chairmanship of the Principal.
- If none of the senior teachers is available, then in this situation two members from other Mahatma Gandhi English medium schools of the concerned CBEO block will be appointed in the committee.
- If more applications than vacancies are received on any vacant post, then in this situation a priority list will be prepared and appointments will be made on the basis of merit.
- All the selected candidates will have to agree to the proposal given for the post of guest faculty within 7 days and will come to work at the time fixed by the head of the institution.
- If a retired teacher is a B.ed pass then the teacher is eligible for level 2 and if BSTC or D.El.Ed pass then teacher is eligible for level one.

Vidya Sambal Yojana Selection Process
The following will be the process through which a guest teacher can be appointed:
- Under the Rajasthan Vidya Sambal Yojana, according to the qualification mentioned in the related service rules, the head of the institution can appoint on the vacant post in the institution at his own level.
- Apart from this, a district level committee will also be formed in the district. Whose chairman will be the District Collector. Guest faculty can also be selected through this committee.
- After the commencement of the education session, applications will be invited from all the candidates having the prescribed qualification by preparing a public notice at the former district headquarters.
- After this, the merit list will be prepared on the basis of marks obtained in the prescribed minimum educational examination.
- Based on this list the guest faculty will be selected.
- The applications of guest faculty will be taken only against the sanctioned vacant posts.
- The work of guest faculty will be monitored and payment will be made to them only on the basis of satisfactory work verification.
- No more applications will be invited for Guest Faculty after all the posts are filled.
- The head of the institution may also pay for the coaching directly at its own level as per the budget provision.
