  • Members of Lok Sabha, Rajya Sabha, State Legislative Assembly, and State Legislative Councils.
  • Current or former Chairpersons of District Panchayats.
  • Current or former Mayors of Municipal Corporations.
• Previous Income Tax Filers: Individuals who filed income tax in the previous Assessment Year (AY) or their family members are not eligible for the Pradhan Mantri Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana.
• Pension Receivers: Individuals and their families receiving a pension of ₹ 10,000 or more per month upon retirement or superannuation are excluded, except for multi-tasking staff, Class IV, or Group D employees.
• Professional Families: Families with members who are professionals like doctors, engineers, chartered accountants, lawyers, and architects actively engaged in their respective fields are also ineligible for the scheme.

PM-KISAN e-KYC for Farmers

The 14th instalment of the PM Kisan programme is anticipated to be released by the government in June 2023, according to a statement made by Surya Pratap Shahi, the minister of agriculture for Uttar Pradesh, on May 23, 2022. PM-KISAN Samman Nidhi Credit Card

The Kisan Credit Card (KCC) Scheme, also known as the PM Kisan Credit Card Yojana, was launched by the Government of India in 1998. It was created by the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD) to provide financial assistance to farmers. The scheme offers credit cards to farmers, which they can use to purchase agricultural inputs like seeds, pesticides, fertilisers, and more on short-term credit. The interest rates on Kisan Credit Card loans may vary among different banks, but the average rate is around 7% per year. Repayment of the KCC loan is flexible, allowing farmers to start repaying once their produce is harvested. To ensure income support for all farmers, the Indian government merged the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme and the Kisan Credit Card Scheme together in Budget 2020. As a result, all farmers who are beneficiaries under the Kisan Samman Nidhi Scheme are now eligible to apply for a Kisan Credit Card.
