Similar to the documents of director in case of a private limited company or public limited company, you need to submit documents of the partners in the partnership :

  • PAN card of partners

Registered Office documents

  • Copy of utility bills like electricity bill, water bill or landline bill
  • Rent agreement

How to Track the GST Registration Application

  • To track the status of your GST registration, you need to log on to govt website
  • After logging in you need to go to the Services section
  • Under the Services section, a dropdown for registration will appear
  • Choose the “Track Application Status” option
  • Once you choose an option, you would be required to enter the ARN number and click on the search button
  • Post this, you will get all the details of application status. This information will also be sent to your registered mobile number and email ID.

An important point to note here is that B2B transactions are also subjected to GST, so if you are dealing in this domain, then you need to go for the GST registration. However, if you have an online shop that has a turnover of fewer than 10 lakhs, then you would not need GST registration.
