Mr.Utkarsh Sharma, learned AGP places on record a communication by Police Inspector, Katargam Police Station, Surat city, dated 18.08.2020, addressed to office of the Government Pleader, High Court of Gujarat wherein, it is stated that there is no preventive detention order is passed against the petitioner at present. At the same time, according to Mr.Sharma, learned AGP, on instructions, the authority was asked to submit all the offences with regard to antecedents of the petitioner where they have shown only one offence, which is reflected in this petition itself being C.R.No.1121002120066 of 2020.

In view of the fact that there is no detention order yet passed, Mr.Gajendra Baghel, learned advocate for the petitioner seeks permission to withdraw this petition. This petition stands disposed of as withdrawn.
