Learned advocate Mr. Yash Nanavaty appearing for the applicant, under the instructions from the applicant, states that the applicant is ready and willing to deposit Rs.10,00,000/- (Rupees Ten Lakh Only) within a period of four months. He further states that the applicant is residing at Lucknow and would not be able to appear before the police station in view of the prevailing situation of COVID-19 pandemic. He further states that the applicant will immediately appear before the concerned police station as and when the general public is permitted to travel.
In view of the above statement, out of Rs.10,00,000/-, an amount of Rs.2,50,000/- shall be deposited by the applicant with the Nazir of the concerned Court through RTGS on or before 07.08.2020. Rest of the amount i.e. Rs.7,50,000/- shall be deposited with the Nazir of the concerned Court through RTGS in three equal installments i.e. every installment in the 1st weeks of Page ​1​ of ​2 Downloaded on : Fri Jul 24 00:16:26 IST 2020 R/CR.MA/3618/2020 ORDER September, October and November of 2020 respectively.
Stand over to 25.11.2020.
Till then, no coercive steps shall be taken against the applicant. It is hereby made clear that if the amount as undertaken to be deposited by the applicant, as aforesaid, is not deposited by the applicant then the relief of no coercive steps granted by the present order would be automatically vacated.
