State vs Appearance

This Criminal Appeal is that of year 1999. Unfortunately Shri B.P. Gupta, learned advocate appearing for the respondents has not placed on record any information or death certificate of the accused as he himself has requested on 7.4.2010 that he was awaiting instruction in this behalf and time was granted to him and the matter was kept on 21st April,2010.

In view of this inaction on the part of the learned advocate for the respondents and in view of the fact that the Court is informed with regard to demise of the respondent. This Court is of the view let this be ascertain by issuing appropriate direction in form of notice to the respondents returnable on 18th June,2010. The concerned officer, serving the notice shall ascertain the whereabouts of the respondents and placed on record appropriate reports.
