An affidavit of compliance has been filed stating that the claim of the applicant has been considered, and a decision has been taken to disburse pension to the applicant.

From the records, it appears that the only direction issued by the writ court on 18.5.2017, in writ petition no.56768 of 2016, was to direct the fourth respondent to take a decision in the matter, keeping in view the judgment in Mirza Athar Beg.

Since the claim of the applicant has been examined and relief has been granted to him, as such the order of the writ court is shown to have been complied with.

In such circumstances, notices issued are discharged, and this contempt petition is consigned to records.
