The grievance of the petitioner is that though all the formalities for providing a new electricity connection have been completed by the petitioner, yet the electricity connection has not been provided.

This is an issue which can, in the first instance, be examined by the Executive Engineer concerned.

Sri Kapil Dev Singh Rathore, learned counsel appearing for the Power Corporation states that in case a representation is filed, a decision shall be taken expeditiously.

The petition is, accordingly, disposed of with a direction that in the event the petitioner files a representation before the Executive Engineer concerned, a decision shall be taken after hearing the parties concerned expeditiously and preferably within a period of three weeks from the date a certified copy of the order is filed by the petitioner.

It is made clear that the Court has not adjudicated on the merits of the case, which shall be examined by the Executive Concerned in accordance with law.
