Heard learned advocate appearing on behalf of the respective parties.
Mr.K. M. Patel, learned senior advocate appearing on behalf of the petitioner has contended that the respondent has no power to give any direction in exercise of power under Section 160 of the Gujarat Cooperative Societies Act. He has contended that vide order dated 01.01.2016, the Court has reserved liberty to the petitioner to pray further interim relief.
Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing on behalf of respondent has tendered affidavit-in-reply filed by respondent, which is taken on record.
I have perused the averments made in the petition and documents available on record as well as affidavit-in-reply and I have considered the submissions made by the learned advocates appearing on behalf of the respective parties.
The petitioner is permitted to make appointments as per the selection as stated in additional affidavit dated 19.04.2016 filed by the petitioner, which is produced on record, subject to outcome of the petition. The matter is adjourned to 21.06.2016.
