Having perused the judgment of the learned Single Judge Page 1 of 3 Downloaded on : Sun Feb 16 23:11:17 IST 2020 C/LPA/1527/2018 ORDER and having heard the submissions made by the learned counsel for the appellant, we do not find any good ground to interfere with the judgment of the learned Single Judge. However, Shri Vinod Thaker, learned counsel for the appellant has referred to the order dated 24.12.2018 passed by the Division Bench in this appeal, referring to two letters dated 31.01.2017 and 28.03.2018 issued by the District Education Officer, Gandhinagar, regarding appropriate communication to the District Accounts & Finance office, Gandhinagar (Pay verification Unit) for taking appropriate decision on the papers forwarded regarding any benefits to be extended to the present appellant. But, since no decision has been taken so far, appropriate direction may be issued to the District Education Officer, Gandhinagar, to take a final decision on the two letters written by him. Further, it is apparent from the record that the appellant had died in the meantime and is now substituted by his heirs.

The request appears to be innocuous.

Accordingly, without interfering with the order passed by the learned Single Judge dismissing the Special Civil Application, we dispose of this appeal with a direction to the District Education Officer, Gandhinagar, to finalize and take Page 2 of 3 Downloaded on : Sun Feb 16 23:11:17 IST 2020 C/LPA/1527/2018 ORDER appropriate decision on the letters referred to above, within a period of two months from the date of production of the certified copy of this order.

With the aforesaid observations, the appeal stands disposed of.

Consequently, the connected civil applications also stand disposed of. Notice is discharged.
