Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel for the State-respondents.

The petition has been filed seeking the following relief-

"i) issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondent no.2 to decide the Case No.T201814360603747 u/s 24 Revenue Code, Ram Shiroman Vs. Gaon Sabha and others in Arazi No.62 situated in the village Ojhapur, Pargana Barsathi, Tehsil Mariyahun District Jaunpur u/s 24 Revenue Code, Ram Shiroman Vs. Gaon Sabha and others within stipulated period i.e. 3 months."

The grievance of the petitioner is that an application for demarcation under Section 24 of the U.P. Revenue Code, 2006 filed in July 2018 has not been decided till date.

Under the circumstances, this writ petition is disposed of directing the respondent no.1, Sub Divisional Magistrate, Tehsil Mariyahun, District Jaunpur to endeavour to decide the application of the petitioner, expeditiously, preferably within a period of three months from the date a certified copy of this order is filed before him.
