The prayer made in the instant petition is for issuing direction to the trial court to decide Original Suit No.398 of 1994 instituted by the petitioner against the defendant-respondents within a specified time frame.

The suit is for declaration of the share of the plaintiff in respect of the suit property. A perusal of the order sheet reveals that recently, the court had allowed application filed by the plaintiff for taking on record certain documentary evidence.

Having regard to the fact that the suit is pending since the year 1994, the instant petition is disposed of with direction to the trial court to ensure speedy disposal of the suit, by fixing short dates and without granting unnecessary adjournments, provided there is no legal impediment.
